Russell Carroll writes "After spending more than a few months in hiatus and having the domain sold, Arkanoid.com, the home of all arkanoid is back online. The look of the site has changed quite a bit, and fans who visited regularly will also notice that all of the old games on the website have been removed.
Unfortunately it appears that the website has been set up as a front for Alawar and only Alawar related games are listed on the website. There is still time for change, and I for one certainly hope that the website will not become a farse and will instead contiue the tradition of being a gathering place for all Arkanoid games.
The new website also includes a supposed history of arkanoid that you can read here. Certainly it hits some of the main points of the history, but misses major milestones in games such as Mega Ball and DX Ball 2. As it has only been up for a few weeks, some caution not to rant Arkanoid back out of existence must be taken, however the initial re-launch of the website may not leave visitors as satisfied as they were when visiting the old Arkanoid.com."
