Anonymous writes "Just released is a Windows remake of Imogen, a classic game from the BBC Micro which was originally written by Michael St Aubyn back in 1986. Michael gave permission to remake the game as freeware for Windows and it can be downloaded from http://imogen.ovine.net/
It is a classic game remembered for its devilishly humorous puzzles and slick animation. The remake builds upon this with larger, colourful graphics but retains all of the originals charm and gameplay.
IMOGEN is an animated adventure game in sixteen sections; Each section contains a number of puzzles based on a particular theme. It is not possible to be killed off although the number of times you can change character has been limited. The number of permitted changes is given at the top-right of the screen.
The objective is to solve the puzzle on each level so to retrieve the spell fragments. When all spell fragments have been recovered you can escape from the caverns.
To solve the puzzles you can use the attributes of three characters, the Wizard, the monkey and the cat.
