Are you a freelance writer looking to write for Game Tunnel?  Or maybe a gamer looking to get free games and a little food money? Writing for Game Tunnel is done on a volunteer basis. You will receive a free full version reviewer's copy of the game, but there is no further compensation.  Game reviews are typically between 900 to 1500 words and game review assignments must be completed within two weeks.

General Description:  

• Game Review articles will review Video Games created by independent publishers.   The games you review will be provided to you by Game Tunnel and are typically yours to keep as legitimate software after you have finished your review.

Writing Requirements:

• Ability to write critically and thoughtfully.
• Past experience playing video games, especially with different independent games.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Own your own computer.  Should be at least a P3 500mhz or equivalent.  A High Speed connection to the internet is not required, but highly recommended as most games will be provided as downloadable files.
• Be 18 years of age or older

Application Process:

• Game Tunnel selects candidates to write based on a pre-screening process.  As we provide you with a copy of a game to review to begin your assignment, we do a pre-screening of candidates prior to providing you with your first assignment.  After that assignment you may continue to review games as long as the quality of your writing meets the site standard.

1. A cover letter that includes:
   1. A statement of your age
   2. Number of years you have been playing Video Games.
   3. Number of years you've been playing Independent Games.
   4. What you believe are the five best Video Games of all time.
   5. Your 5 Favorite Independent Video Games
   6. What types of Games genres you like to play
2. An example of your writing.  It is preferred that it be in regards to Indie games and be in the site's format.

   You may use any of the following games when writing up your review.  These games have not yet been reviewed on Game Tunnel.  However we will not provide you with a full version reviewer's copy of any of these games.
