Ever dreamed of being a terribly overweight super-hero who has virtually no money and no clout?  Socko! Entertainment has made a game just for you!  In the Adventures of Fatman, you are Fatman.  Looking a lot like a very overweight Batman, and with music very  reminiscent of the old TV series, Fatman provide a very singular type of game play.

The Adventures of Fatman is comic book based.  You control our hero Fatman as he wanders around the city in the Fatmobile, which always seems to be out of Twinkies.  At each area you go to you are able to talk, see, walk and interact with things on the screen in addition to your inventory of useful items (such as your pocket knife).  The conversations you can have seem nearly endless as the developers over at Socko! have taken a lot of time to ensure that you do not have a repetitive adventure as you move about the city.  The key to winning is to make use of the items you have to move the plot along.  Finding different items along the way is a helpful way of doing this, though as much fun as anything is trying to interact with the different things that you see in any one screen.  For example, finding your wallet is useful, though you'll need to interact with it to open the wallet, then look at the ATM card to figure out your PIN to the account so you can withdraw your last Quarter.

The game plays in mind-bending puzzle style where you are required to figure out what things need to be done to get past each point and move onto the next set of challenges.  The graphics are very well done, even for as pixilated as they are on a large screen.  Anyone who downloads this game will definitely enjoy it.  And for those of you who are interested, the time to order this game is NOW!  On October 21 Socko announced it would be closing its virtual doors at the end of the year and that they would not re-open.  When that happens, another great adventure game will be lost, so make sure to check it out now, you'll be glad you did.
