Episodic games provide new challenges to reviewers. How do you review just one episode? Unlike the Bone series (which I tend to prefer to some degree due to the increased adventure feel), Sam & Max's episodes are self-contained. That makes them ideal for anyone to pick up at any point without feeling like they're jumping in mid-story. This episode has some great government-al humor mixed with the puzzle randomness that makes most people shake their heads at puzzle games. Sam & Max certainly are worth the low entry price. Essentially you are getting 3 hours of fun for a bit more than a movie. Oh and did I mention the musical number-esque song done in ragtime style? It's an immediate classic that make you laugh and a good reason to check out this particular episode.
